Recently, Shanghai Lanya Petrochemical Equipment Inspection Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Lanya) was honored with the “Excellent Service Provider Unit for Unit Startup, Shutdown, Overhaul and Transformation” for 2025 by Sinopec Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical Co., Ltd. This major overhaul was the largest in scale and widest in scope in the history of Gaoqiao Petrochemical’s establishment, with Shanghai Lanya undertaking partial equipment inspection and testing tasks. To complete all inspection tasks of this major overhaul project with high quality, the company promptly established a project team, selected elite technical personnel to form an inspection task force, and coordinated with the client six months in advance to scientifically develop inspection plans and refine inspection tasks.
In early April, the major overhaul work for parking facilities was fully launched. Facing numerous challenges such as tight deadlines and heavy tasks, inspection personnel remained committed to their original mission, leveraging their professional expertise to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of “equipment doctors” within narrow confined spaces and amidst crisscrossing pipelines. During this coke tower inspection task, the project team worked tirelessly for 10 consecutive days, paying attention to every data detail, and used their professional knowledge and rigorous work style to build a solid defense for the safe and stable operation of the coke tower, embodying the “overcoming difficulties and winning battles” fighting spirit of Lanya people. Finally, after 31 days of day and night struggle, the project team successfully completed this major overhaul task.
